Course Overview
Spanish I B continues to strengthen students' foundation in Spanish, expanding their ability to communicate through more detailed conversation, reading, and writing. Students build on previous knowledge by developing greater grammatical accuracy and cultural understanding.
Key Learning Focus
Students will:
- Broaden vocabulary to discuss family, school, hobbies, food, and daily activities.
- Apply additional grammar, including irregular verbs, verb conjugations, and agreement rules.
- Improve writing skills by composing longer paragraphs and guided compositions.
- Refine listening and speaking skills with more complex conversations and dialogues.
- Deepen cultural awareness by exploring the histories, geographies, and traditions of Spanish-speaking peoples.
