Course Overview

Language Arts 8 A strengthens students' literacy skills through the study of complex texts, academic writing, and critical analysis. Students explore diverse genres—including novels, drama, poetry, and nonfiction—while examining how authors develop ideas and convey meaning. Writing instruction emphasizes argumentation, explanation, and narrative craft.
