Course Overview

Language Arts 6 A develops foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. Students engage with a variety of literary and informational texts to deepen comprehension, analyze author's craft, and build vocabulary. Writing instruction focuses on clear organization, strong evidence, and purposeful communication. The course emphasizes academic literacy, encouraging students to make meaningful connections between texts and real-world experiences.
