Students participate in project-based assignments such as literary discussions, book reviews, research papers, and oral presentations. Emphasis is placed on the writing process—including drafting, revising, and editing—to promote mastery of mechanics, usage, and grammar. Instruction also incorporates 21st-century learning skills, encouraging students to connect language arts to real-world applications while developing independence as readers and writers.
Academic Alignment and Progression
