Course Overview

English 10 A is the first semester of a two-part high school Language Arts sequence designed to strengthen students' skills in reading comprehension, analytical writing, and vocabulary development. Students engage with a wide range of literary and informational texts—including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, and contemporary works—while exploring language and style.
